[sane-devel] Alioth Download only for logged in users?

Hi there,

a colleague of mine discovered that to download SANE files (like the
current 1.0.24 tarball) from Alioth requires being logged in (and of
course, having a user). Without that, attempting to download will only
redirect you to a login page: "You've been redirected to this login page
because you have tried accessing a page that was not available to you as
an anonymous user." This is not the case with files from another project
hosted on Alioth that I attempted to download.
