[sane-devel] Canoscan LIDE 35 not working: "open of device failed - invalid argument"

I did some research myself, the results are:

backends 1.0.23 does work
backends 1.0.24 does not
backends 1.0.25 from git does not

So it seems to be some kind of regression, going to take a look at the 
source code later this weekend.
