[sane-devel] Scanning to HP 11 Chromebook

Hi,

I have a Chromebook and I read that if I switched to the Beta channel, Sane
Back Ends and binaries were built in and that would allow me to scan to my
Chromebook from my Canon Pixma MG3560.

I wasn't successful. I'm wondering do the back ends need to be installed on
the device that you are scanning to? Or are they installed directly onto
the printer via a computer?

Is there any expected time frame for Chromebook to be able to use scanners?
What can I do to help?
