[sane-devel] canon mx495 ADF not working

Hello
I am trying to use sane with a Cannon MX495 - Driver identical to MX490 -
with the automatic document feeder.

I can succesfully scan from the flatbed, but when I try the ADF, I get the
following error "scanimage: sane_read: Operation was cancelled".

I've noticed that when the feeder has no document, scanimage will wait, and
when a document is inserted, will produce the error.

Is there a way to debug and possibly correct this ? Where would there be a
starting point ?
