I think the most important thing for downstream users would be what
versions of SANE were working with the scanner. I think it makes sense
to have a column where we could put a list of released SANE versions
with which the scanner was successfully tested. Putting a date is
perhaps not very useful because development code from the master branch
can break at any time before the release and it does not matter much if
I test 1.0.28 now or a year from now.
