Absolutely correct if you're using pre-built packages.

1.0.30 is the most recent version as of writing but 1.0.31 is scheduled
for 2020-08-23.
You could of course try compiling from source.
You can find the SANE Project's backends at
https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends
and a *release* source archive in the Other section of
https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends/-/releases/1.0.30
You want the sane-backends-1.0.30.tar.gz file.
