I am right now playing with a dirty-installed Beaker on my LIME2 - i.e. 
running both the java-based Beaker and an Xfce desktop with Icewasel.

It consumes ~400MB, so we should *not* need a 2GB board and even the 
cheaper LIME board may be adequate (e.g. by using less bloated browser)!
