  That's something that would be entirely possible: the ept library
aptitude links against has support for processing popcon results.
Someone (Enrico Zini, maybe) has also done cross-correlations of popcon
submissions; i.e., what is the probability of installing "emacs" if you
also installed "vi"?  Think Amazon's "other people who bought this book
also bought..."
