[Soc-coordination] Proposal: Automatic selection of hardware specific packages

The implementation would IMO also to some extend need to be aware of the 
environment into which the installation is taking place. On a Gnome 
desktop system it should propose Gnome packages, on a KDE desktop system 
it should propose equivalent KDE packages.
