Hi everyone,
I am pleased to write my first weekly report !
What Google calls "bonding period" has been done successfully. I really
feel welcome in debian and I have no problem to communicate with
developers whatsoever. Thank you !
At the moment I am working with zack and Matthieu, I can see them when I
go work some days at IRILL in Paris. Also, with Paul and David (from
redhat)
and of course with Sylvestre my mentor !
So far, I focused on three points :
* firehose and scan-build mix
* debuild.me
* LLVM packages in the archive (a bit out of scope but not too much, as
I use the LLVM tools intensively for GSOC, knowing them in depth will
be time-saving)
Here are more details (not really chronological order) :
* firehose
* Small fix on clangparser
* Re-think of firehose schema to make it more compatible with scan-build
output (needed also to adjust parsers and tests)
* Implemented it !
* Try to find a naming convention that everyone agrees on (not so easy)
* Use a small Perl prototype I began before GSOC to generate easily
firehose and plist reports of scan-build on debian packages to make some
tests
* debuild.me
* Get up to speed with Paul's project
* Installed debian on virtual machines to create my own instance
* Currently trying parameters and environments to make it work (soon !)
* Begun to write some documentation about that
* LLVM packages
* Understand how packaging LLVM works in debian
* Familiarize myself with LLVM codebase, especially clang
* Work :
* Fix a simple manpage bug, "man clang++" reported an error, now
it prints the man of clang.
* Fix #712437, "-O4" LTO option in clang made clang crash
* Should be uploaded soon in the archive by Sylvestre
I wanted to reinstall a blogging system on my servers, so far no time
to do that. Meanwhile, I am using a redmine instance to jot down stuff
I want to remember and to follow my activity on a daily basis. It is
public,
I have nothing to hide (yet) [1]
See you next week,
