[Soc-coordination] Call for Debian projects and mentors in the Google Summer of Code 2015

Do you think it'd be good for the project, to get a Crash Detection and
Reporting Tool, Apport, into Debian.

Apport (and abrtd in the Fedora world) are system-wide tools that
intercept any crashes reported by the kernel, and do their best to
generate a complete and developer friendly report. For many apps and
libraries that crash in the background, the end-user has no idea of such
issues.

I'd like to propose a revival of apport for Debian, through this SoC, if
accepted.

What do you guys think ? Will this qualify as a SoC for Debian ?

PS: This is the first time I'm proposing something like this. I may need
your help to comply with the process.
