Dear Maintainer,

>From a remote machine, this does not work:
logger --tcp --port 514 -n l01 --tag scrub -p 6 "Scrub test from logger"

This does work:
logger --rfc3164 --tcp --port 514 -n l01 --tag scrub -p 6 "Scrub test
from logger"

What led up to the situation: Upgraded from bsdutils 1:2.25.2-6 to 1:2.26.2-5
What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective): added --rfc3164 to logger

I just upgraded syslog-ng to 3.6.1 in an attempt to fix the problem,
3.5.6 did the same thing.
