With auto-removal due to FTBFS imminent:

Version 0.3.16-3 of zh-autoconvert is marked for autoremoval from
testing on 2015-12-17. It is affected by RC bug #800194.

I have decided to go ahead and adopt the package as an "Uploader"
and move the package to be group-maintained under the
Debian Chinese Team <chinese-developers at lists.alioth.debian.org>.

Sun Tong had done some good work with modernizing the package at
https://github.com/suntong/zh-autoconvert, but unfortunately did not
finish... Or did he? I found the following in his PPA on Launchpad:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/~suntong001/+archive/ubuntu/ppa/+build/6683588

And then this:

https://github.com/suntong/zh-autoconvert-build/blob/master/debian/changelog

But it was not uploaded to Debian, and nothing more happened for 11
months. Don't know why.

Anyhow, with the AUTORM looming, I am taking over this time, while merging
SUN Tong's excellent work where appropriate. But the package will be
owned by the Debian Chinese Team, not by me personally.

SUN Tong, you are always welcome to join the Debian Chinese Team on Alioth
at https://alioth.debian.org/projects/chinese/ and continue to maintain
the zh-autoconvert there if you wish. Having Chinese packages like
zh-autoconvert maintained in a team reduces the chance of important bugs
go unnoticed. :-)

Thanks,

Anthony
