The Debian package sage-pari must be understood as an ad hoc solution during
the development period. This is bad behaviour and bad policy. This is exactly
what Debian want to avoid.

Anyway, I guess that the consensus among the Debian Sage Team is now to play
with pari 2.8, and with stable pari versions in the future.

FWI, a bug report has been filled to get pari 2.8 ASAP in experimental [1].

It does not matter at all. But, please, provide a map file in order to make the right
connexion with the rest of the universe.
