CoffeeScript is a programming language that compiles to JavaScript.  
The language adds syntactic sugar inspired by Ruby, Python and  
Haskell[1] to enhance JavaScript's brevity and readability, as well as  
adding more sophisticated features like array comprehension and  
pattern matching.
