If you have a web-enabled server, please join the SOPA/PIPA strike
tomorrow.  Joining the protest itself is simple [0].

Whether or not you have a server, please petition Congress or the State
Department to kill these bills [1].

Also, please note that freer-speech online is generally under-fire, due
to changes in ICANN's registry process [2]: anonymous or pseudonymous
site registration will soon become impossible.

Sorry to distract the -discuss list with tangentially-related requests,
but ending these bills is hardly tangential.  If they pass, any
copyright infringement *accusation* could take any public-facing
FreedomBoxes off the Internet.  This could well be the first in a line
of attacks on free communication - legislating FreedomBoxes, Tor, and
the rest out of existence.  It's probably not a conscious goal (outside
of Iran, China, et al.), but it's a distinct possibility [3].
