Good point. I followed the instructions and was able to detect a successful boot by way of the network. I waited a full 10 minutes, power cycled the box, waited about 2 or 3 minutes and was able to
connect and create an account.

Per the previous comment, I then performed a shutdown from the web interface, waited a minute, power cycled the box and after a few minutes, was able to reconnect.

Out of curiosity, I reconnected HDMI, and it appears that on startup, video output is turned off.

Thanks for reminding me to try the network first. I'll continue to play with this image.
