using minicom in a script (capturing data)?

Hi,

is it possible to use minicom in "silent" or "no-windows" mode?

I need run minicom in a script (hence, the no-windows mode) to capture
all data from a serial port, and redirect it to a socket port. I was
thinknig of using something like:

# minicom -<options> | netcat -l -p 5000
