Summary: escaped circumflex characters cause memory error and failed response.
Category: None
Group: None
Resolution: None
Initial Comment:
While running the attached script justProfile.mc the first line appears to be ignored, both sending and response. Nothing reaches the screen. Valgrind reports a memory leak. The problem appears to be the escaped circumflex.
I tried with multiple commands with a circumflex, and only the last command ever receives a response.

Message:
This is with a newly-compile build version 2.6.1.
In addition, I started with an earlier version which came with Ubuntu, which was worse in that it threw spurious "bigger 50" "bigger 100" messages instead of a response.
