This one is the crucial one ...
If we translate it using the MIB it is

$ snmptranslate -Td -m+UPS-MIB SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.33.1.4.1.0
UPS-MIB::upsOutputSource.0
upsOutputSource OBJECT-TYPE
  -- FROM       UPS-MIB
  SYNTAX        INTEGER {other(1), none(2), normal(3), bypass(4),
			  battery(5), booster(6), reducer(7)}
  MAX-ACCESS    read-only
  STATUS        current
  DESCRIPTION "The present source of output power. The enumeration
		none(2) indicates that there is no source of output
		power (and therefore no output power), for example,
		the system has opened the output breaker."
::= { iso(1) org(3) dod(6) internet(1) mgmt(2) mib-2(1) upsMIB(33)
      upsObjects(1) upsOutput(4) upsOutputSource(1) 0 }

or

UPS-MIB::upsOutputSource.0 = INTEGER: normal(3)

So the UPS does not say that it is on battery, which means that there is
no way for NUT to say it
