Could you run the driver in debug mode (start it up from the commandline
with the -DD option added) like
usbhid-ups -a <upsname> -DD
with each time just one UPS attached? This command will dump all the
variables that the UPS has and we *might* be able to tell them apart. The
first few seconds of output should be enough.
