Okay.  Does any of the active developers want one, for free, to keep? 
We've got a ton of them here (literally...batteries are heavy).  I'll pay 
shipping.

I could have sworn I had replied to that, but I can't find it either.  Let 
me go and try the genericups driver again, just so I have the relevant 
output, and I will let you know.

If I had the first clue about writing C, I would.  You have my apologies 
if I've come off as garish here.

As sysadmins do, I'm occasionally pulled in 20 directions at once, so 
things are interesting right now.
