You could try powering the UPS down completely, although that seems to be more of a fix for APC and MGE/Eaton units when switching between protocols.

I'm not familiar with this particular UPS protocol, though. Maybe someone else can chime in. (I'm somewhat skeptical about an UPS that doesn't even have a valid USB vendor/product ID - 0000 is not registered to that manufacturer.)
