Have you tried putting a usb hub between the host and the ups?

Yes, I’m serious. I’ve run into several problems with recent linux kernels and newer usb3 hardware. If your motherboard has usb2 ports, you might try that as well.

What parameters I can use to stop the disconnect? Or a proper way to diagnose what the real issue is? I already tried the physical connection. Replaced USB cord with a known cable that works with another UPS and changing USB ports.
