while re-reading the bug report I noticed a reference to README.Debian
and when I checked there, I saw a note explaining how to do it with
sysvinit. I think the two explanations should be in the same section (if
the sysvinit-explanation actually still works). Then I'd close the bug,
the bug submitter doesn't use bacula since some years anyway.
I also had a look at the other open bug reports again. I'll add
a note somewhere about tapes on kfreebsd and close that bug.
Kern closed the QT display bug: https://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=2248
I still see the bug in our current backported version. Is my explanation
how to reproduce clear enough?
And lastly, I think your autoconf patch for cross compiling should be
upstreamed. I'll submit it to the upstream bug tracker.
