I'll give it some thought during the weekend, tomorrow is already
overbooked.

Probably it would work with forcing new passwords, or stashing the old
ones to reuse them, or something like that.

Bareos has run into this problem before, btw:

In the meantime I've uploaded 9.4.2-2 anyway, as it's undoubtedly better
than 9.4.2-1.
