yes, it also embeds a modified version of latex2html (and a second older
one). My idea was to remove them and not ship html documentation for the
time being.
It looks like I had a go at it in January, but all I did was to remove
everything that shouldn't be in the sources (latex2html(-2016), pre-made stuff
removed by make clean/distclean, ...), then stumbled over the version.h
thing and gave up.
