Those projects probably don't have native applications for 64-bit 
architectures and since the boinc-client for amd64 uses "i686-pc-linux-gnu" 
as alternate platform[1] it will download their 32-bit applications instead 
which then require ia32-libs. I haven't thought about this much...

BTW, which projects require libstdc++5?
