Hi,
may be you could help me with this issue.
Our admin tried to install PyMVPA via MacPorts as described here:
http://www.pymvpa.org/installation.html#install-macos
The Steps are:
1) Install MacPorts
2) Edit .bash_profile
- works -
3) Install PyMVPA + dependencies
> $ sudo port install py25-pymvpa +scipy +pynifti +hcluster +libsvm
> +matplotlib +pywavelet
$ sudo port install python_select
$ sudo python_select python25
- doesn't work -
MacPorts can't find the packages
Sorry for asking, but are you sure, that these 3 steps are sufficient?
James Kyle mentioned on this list, that it is also required to add the
following lines to /opt/local/etc/macports/sources.conf:
>> rsync://www.ccn.ucla.edu/release/ports/
and do
>> $ sudo port sync
Is this step not required anymore? Because it is not mentioned in the
docs. But pymvpa is not listed on the MacPorts port list:
http://www.macports.org/ports.php?by=all&substr=&page=78&pagesize=50
Thanks in advance I really appreciate your help,
Matthias
