Yeah, I also think this is desirable, BUT:

What about licensing if those files are provided by that company? There
should be some statement somewhere, otherwise we get into trouble. Maybe
it is more appropriate to put them somewhere on the box that hosts
pymvpa.org and add a makefile target to download them -- always given
that the corresponding license at least allows for redistribution.
