Ahhh, thanks for the pointer -- will fix it. Although we were evaluating
if we continue to support python 2.4 ....

Note: we are few weeks away from a milestone release that will establish
      a new API. In some cases it might be useful to already look at the
      dev-branches to see where things are going.
