Dear PyMVPA users,

this is episode 3264 in our quest toward a new release. Even though it
is hard to believe: there IS progress.

Today we will revive the 'snapshot' packages, to have a convenient way
to try what will eventually become the next PyMVPA release. Updated
Debian packages will be available later today from http://neuro.debian.net
(and tomorrow from its mirrors).

On Debian, Ubuntu or the NeuroDebian Virtual Machine you'll be able to
install them via:

  apt-get install python-mvpa-snapshot

WARNING: If you have installed the 0.5 series via a previous version of
the snapshot package and you still use this version: DO NOT upgrade
unless you are ready to upgrade your analysis code as well.

Moreover, the snapshot package is not co-installable with the
0.4 series package (aka the latest official release).

As already mentioned earlier, the PyMVPA tutorial has been updated for
the 0.6 flavor and is available at:

  http://dev.pymvpa.org/tutorial.html

Enjoy,

Michael
