I do NOT using gnome! And as I read in the bug reports other too.

Well, yes. But it is comming from unix and had unix keybindings in past.

Better whould be to give the admin a choice by debconf to use the common
old keybindings. This can provide a /etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc to fix this
(depending on the debconf configuration).
