That would be "~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml" :)

Yes, often, during the 0.6.1 release.  

I've also had Rhythmbox jam dead whenever it looses a radio stream, forcing me
to kill it after it laid idle for more thna half-hour.  This bug was already
reported via BTS a while ago.

Simply deleting rhythmdb.xml and restarting apparently regenerated all files,
which fixes my problem.  Thanks.  

I think that this tip should be mentioned in the README.Debian (at least) or
better yet in the Yelp manual for Rhythmbox.
