I just upgraded rhythmbox from sarge to sid, and now it doesn't work.
Well, technically, it does work (the program is behaving properly
_visually_, without any crashing and burning). It does output some music
at times, so I'm guessing that this is a problem with the underlying
framework (GStreamer) rather than the application itself. Before I
forget, I'm using ALSA 1.04rc2 modules from linux-2.6.6, and my sound
chipset is a VIA8235 on a VIA KT266A SouthBridge chipset.
Now, I'm going to return to sarge and play the Black Eyed Peas Again...
Cheers,
Zakame

Thanks. Now closing this bug. Just one more thing: gstreamer0.8 should
get its settings from 0.6 (if it's installed) or just default to
alsasink/osssink...
Cheers,
