Bug#282165: gnome-desktop-environment: please consider putting gnome-games as a Recommends or Suggests, not as a Depends

I do understand your argument, but...

gnome-desktop-environment, as has already been explained to you, was
choosen as the meta-package that should install a GNOME desktop as
released officially by the GNOME Project.

This includes gnome-games and is, thus, a bad compromise given our
goals.

You can, then, install gnome-core + the packages you want from the
gnome-desktop-environment meta-package, as I do, or use the equivs dirty
hack (why do you think it is a dirty hack, btw, would you mind
continuing this discussion on pvt? ;)).

While I understand and agree with your needs, its no use breaking our
policy on the gnome-desktop-envinronment because of this single case.
