Bug#272792: gnome-panel: wnck-applet errors out when trying to change preferences

After the upgrade of gnome-panel the workspace switcher applet became
twice wider than it was before. I removed workspace switcher and added
it again, but it only displayed current desktop. When i went to applet
Preferences i got the error below. If you close the error dialog all
options are grayed out. Error dialog is not displayed if you go to
Preferences again, but all options are still grayed out and wnck-applet 
displays only current workspace.
