Package: nautilus
Version: 2.4.2-2

There is some different behaviour if I remove (delete, not moving into
trash) a=20
directory (p.e. 't') nautilus is in. I prefer to have some consistence,
that is=20
I want always a message whicht tells me, that there has vanished a
directory and
 in that message I want the option to go up to an existing directory (so
I don't
 loose the window and the path).
In my current version the window which show 't' always close themselves
and depe
nding on the situation (see below) I get no, one or multiple message
windows.
The state is always, that I have a nautilus window wich shows the
contents of th
e directory 't'.

* 'fam' activated (version 2.6.10-6)
  o deleting the directory 't' (from within nautilus or outside)
    no message

* 'fam' deactivated
  o deleting in nautilus (mutliple nautilus windows)
    no message

  o deleting outside (p.e. in an xterm)
    Here I have to reload a nautilus window to have the effect
    - reloading a window which does not show 't'
      No message
    - reloading the only window which shows 't'
      message: "t" couldn't be found. Perhaps it has recently been
deleted.
    - reloading one window from multiple which shows 't'
      For each window which shows 't' I get the message: "t" couldn't be
found.=20
Perhaps it has recently been deleted.
      and one message: Couldn't find "/home/dknof/t". Please check the
spelling=20
and try again.
      (where does this come from?)

    In the last two cases I do only see the messages, if I have any
other window
 open, which does not show the content of 't'. Else the messages pop up,
nautilu
s closes itself and the messages close themselves at once.
