Bug#310747: gnome-panel: Recent Documents opened with wrong application

I want application/vnd.ms-word documents to be opened with
OpenOffice.org.  After selecting 'OpenOffice.org Writer' in Nautilus
properties for a .doc file, this works fine with Nautilus but when
I select .doc files in the 'Recent Documents' menu, they still get opened
with AbiWord.
