[pkg-go] can debos be used with LVs?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to replace vmdebootstrap
to prepare a VM root filesystem on an LV of a host machine.

It looks like debos might be able to do this, but is the tool actually
appropriate for this use case?

The image-partition action seems like it could be used, but it only talks of
files and not block devices?

Any information would be welcome. TIA.
