Thanks.  I'm not sure I knew what I was doing and there are a number of
potential issues I didn't know how to address.

Do you know if it will build on all the Debian architectures?  (If not
it should be simple to fix.)

Oops, thanks!  I must have forgotten to add that after testing on
systems initially without a new enough hwloc.

I should make a list of the things I think need checking or thinking
about, if you could look at it.

I can, but why?  I don't feel strongly about the name, but I don't see
the need to change it, as it's the same system, and I'd have thought it
would just cause confusion and potential problems to change it.

I did that (but rather trivially, and a while ago), but great if you can
do more.  One bug that may show up specifically on unstable (or
testing?) is <https://arc.liv.ac.uk/trac/SGE/ticket/1437>.
