the Debian build machine detects SSE 4 and builds with that support.  My

crash.  To test this, could you build and run the attached program (read the 
notes in the comments) and report back?

In case you can't build the sources, I'm attaching two binaries: one with SSE4 
and one without.  You can use these instead of building the source.
