First we need some more information.

Why are you writing to the debian-qt-kde mailinglist?
Do you want kup-backup in our team perimenter?
Please use the pkg-kde-talk mailinglist, as this this the mailinglist for team 
talk. debian-qt-kde  is only for automated bugreport etc.

What is your background in Debian?
Where do you need help with?

Also it would have been nice if you directly send the link to your fork. I
