Bug#825930: Marco crashes when switching windows with composition and thumbnails enabled

Hi, upstream MATE dev here.

That crash was affecting only GTK+2 build of Marco. It was a regression in 1.14.0 and it was fixed in 1.14.1.
GTK+3 version of Marco was fine from the beginning.

Now Debian maintainers built the whole MATE Desktop Environment 1.14 with GTK+3 for Unstable repo.
This is a new thing for MATE in Debian - previous releases were built with GTK+2, which is also the default
build option upstream.
There's a known limitation in GTK+, you can't use both GTK+ 2 and 3 in the same app, and that also applies
to any shared libs that are used. Therefore, I suggest checking whether the whole MATE suite has been upgraded
to version 1.14 on your system, because if it's not so, it might cause weird segfaults all over the place. :)

As far as this report is concerned, I can't reproduce the crash in two VMs which I use for dev & testing stuff:
- Debian Testing with my own GTK+3 build of current MATE from git (not far away from 1.14 currently);
- Ubuntu MATE 16.10 with stock GTK+3 build of MATE 1.14.x.
