Yes, that should be indeed in the debian/control file. And this
would have actually been a valid bug report which I would never
see any problems with that.
But what we actually got was a flood of bug reports which basically
consisted of people reporting the error messages only, that's all.
For someone using a development version of Debian, I would at least
expect them to do some debugging on their side and suggest a solution,
I mean, it's a development release after all. But just complaining
with such a huge number of bug reports was just not acceptable.
@Mike: Let's go through all the packages' control files and check
that there is a versioned Depends with >= 1.14.1. And let's also
fix the problem that James has report in [1].
