Can you explain why you tagged this? As I mentioned elsewhere, I don't think postinst hooks and manual symlinking to paths like /usr/share/mozilla/extensions/{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}/$(ID).xpi is a good approach.
