Oh, hm, if apt-cache also reformats, I guess I don't really care. I
didn't think it did, but I haven't checked.

Okay. I'm not sure this is going to buy us that much in the long run, but
since you're doing nearly all the work at the moment, I'm definitely not
going to stand in your way and you've been right about other things like
this in the past. :)
