Does that mean that LDAPv2 is still used by default or has the change to 
LDAPv3 taken place already? The line that triggered me thinking that the 
switch away from LDAPv2 had already been done was this:

But as I have yet to start using/learning about OpenLDAP, I may very well be 
talking nonsense here :P
