Hi,
I verified this is still present with the current PulseAudio 17.0 Debian
packaging.
Debian’s existing disable-autospawn.patch changes the libpulse client
default from autospawn=true to autospawn=false, but the commented
client.conf template still shows ; autospawn = yes as the default.
Attached is an updated version of the existing quilt patch that also
changes the template to ; autospawn = no and records this bug in the patch
metadata.
I tested the new hunk against the PulseAudio v17.0 client.conf.in template;
it applies cleanly. The existing client-conf.c hunk is unchanged.
Feedback welcome. I’m also interested in continuing to help with PulseAudio
packaging and maintenance.
Thanks,
Thomas Stephens
