debian/changelog should be merged with the changelog of the original
version. You can use dpkg-mergechangelogs for that. You can even let git
does that automatically:

[merge "dpkg-mergechangelogs"]
        name = debian/changelog merge driver
        driver = dpkg-mergechangelogs %O %A %B %A

The changelog entries for 1.1.4+dfsg.1-1, 1.1.3+dfsg.1-1 and
1.1.2+dfsg.1-5 should still be here.
